If you don’t like to be told to “chill out,” welcome to the club. I had a hard time relaxing or chilling out for years. I felt that if I stopped working the world might come to an end. I know different now and want to share it with you. So please chill just long enough to read this message of hope.
In life, there are people who are thinkers, planners, and doers. I like to think that we all have a little bit of each in us inherently. I know that in life that is not true. But I like to pretend, because I see in every person a small light of the Divine Creator Energy. I am very busy in life always, thinking researching, planning and doing. I have been blessed with this energy my whole life. I am grateful for it.
I admit that I have trouble, relaxing for more than a short time, I have to plan rest and relaxation. I drive people nuts because they are like just try to “chill out.” I have tried and it causes me anxiety. lol
The Bible tells a story relating to this, Jesus had just blown into visit his friend Lazarus and his two sisters Mary and Martha. Mary was enchanted by Jesus and just sat at his feet listening to his words. She was able to access that energy that he had to just breath and be in the moment with Jesus.
Jesus never traveled with out a group of people around him. So when I say Jesus showed up it was probably him and thirty of his friends and admirers.
Sister Martha was flipping out- she went into overdrive figuring out how to feed all of these hungry guests. Often I am most like Martha. I sometimes need to be reminded to have a dream and have faith that the Holy Spirit will make it happen. Think about this story this way. Jesus did not to think about food, he knew that it was abundant. Remember what he did that day at the beech with the five loaves of bread and two fish. he fed 5,000 people.
